Mrs. Betty Jane Current, 65, of Morris, Ill., died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 1994, at the Morris Lincoln
Nursing Home in that city.  She was a former Flora resident, moving to Morris in 1962. Mrs Current had retired from 25 years service with Caterpillar Tractor.  Mrs. Current was a sister of Robert and Jim Warren, of Fairfield.

Funeral rites were conducted Monday morning (today) from St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Flora, with Father Hyacinth Mazuchowski officiating. Interment was in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Flora. Visitation at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora was held Sunday evening.

She was born in Independence, Ks., June 1, 1929, the daughter of William and Anna Forfang Warren. She was first married to Orvis Coble in 1946. Later in 1959, she was married to John W. Current in Flora. He passed away Sept. 19, 1979.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and one granddaughter.

Mrs. Current was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Flora. She graduated from Flora High in 1946.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Michael J. (Carole) Griggs, of Morris; Mrs. Robert V. (Debra) Hietman, of Manhatton, Ill.; and Janet Benson, of Morris; four brothers, Robert and Jim Warren, both of Fairfield; Jack Warren, of Philomoth, Ore.; and Churtis Warren, of Newark, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Richmond, of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Hazel Colclasure, of Arcola; and Mrs. Gerald (Cathy) Daniels, of Oakland; three grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
