Mrs. Martha Ann Harriett DeSelms, lifelong resident of Wayne county, died early Tuesday, January 28th, at her home in Xenia. She was aged 76 years, nine months and 13 days.

Mrs. DeSelms was born in Wayne county in 1870, the daughter of Elisha and Elizabeth (Dickie) Tucker. She was a member of the Regular Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Married four times, Mrs. DeSelms was preceded in death by three husbands, Oron DeSelma, Warren Colvin and Bruce Wolfe. She is survived by her fourth husband, Ed DeSelms.

She was the stepmother of fifteen children. Surviving besides her husband are five sons, John DeSelms, Bill Colvin, George Wolfe, all of Mt. Vernon; Lewis DeSelms, of Johnsonville, and Edd Colvin, of Flora; two daughters, Mrs. Lena Ayers, of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Bessie Henson, of Cisne; also 23 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
