Elias B. Fleming, 84, retired Keenes farmer, died at six o'clock, Sunday evening at his home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Keenes Christian Church, with burial in the Thomason cemetery at Wayne City.  The Richardson Funeral Home was in charge.

Elias Beaver Fleming, son of William and Mary Rutherford Fleming was born in Pike County, Indiana, on April 8th, 1872.

Mr. Fleming was a member of the Keenes Christian church.

He was married to Nancy Jane Fleming and two children were born to this union.

Survivors are his widow, one son, Edgar Fleming, of Keenes, one daughter, Mrs. Golda Wood, of Keenes; one brother, William Fleming, of Wayne City; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
